Miss La La
Olga Kaira, the dual heritage, high earning, young circus aerialist and strong
woman caused a sensation in Paris in 1879 when she hung from rafters, suspended men, women and a 200lb cannon from her teeth. She was immortalised by the painter Degas, who was fascinated by her and her act.
